Brooklyn: Brooklyn Heights and Williamsburg

Brooklyn was established in 1634 with the name Breukelen. Separated from Manhattan by the East River, today it is the most populous of the city’s five boroughs, and the second most populated county in the US, after Manhattan. By the early 2000s, Brooklyn experienced a renaissance transformation as housing prices increase coupled with rises in entrepreneurship and high technology start-up firms in the area. 

  

Among the nicest neighbourhoods in Brooklyn are: Brooklyn Heights and Williamsburg; both accessible by subways. Williamsburg is interesting with its bohemian style atmosphere, with many good cafes, restaurants and art galleries. The Many of the best restaurants in the city are in this area. Brooklyn Heights comprises of Victorian-era townhouses and cobblestoned streets. You can see the stunning view of Manhattan skyscrapers from both these neighbourhood.
