Plaza de la Catedral

Among the five main squares in Old Havana is Plaza de la Catedral. It was originally a swamp and was later drained and used as a naval dockyard. After Havana Cathderal was built, this area became the base for the cities grandest mansions, such as Palacio del Conde Lombillo, as well as a centre for restaurants and cafes.
