Hanoi Flag Tower

The Flag Tower of Hanoi was built in 1812 during the reign of Nguyen Dynasty, as part of the Hanoi Citadel, to serve the purpose of an observation post. This landmark was not destroyed by the French, but used as their military post. It is classified as a World Heritage Site and today the flag tower serves as the Vietnam Military History Museum.
