Stockholm National Museum

The National Museum was established in 1792 (the building in 1866) and is the national gallery of Sweden. It is home to more than half a million paintings, sculptures, modern art, a collection of porcelain items, drawings from the Middle Ages to 20th century and prominent Rembrandt and Dutch 17th century collection. This museum also has an art library accessible to the public.
